"For Spy's Only" Celebrity Poker Challenge was created to publicize and financially support WishCruise NAVY -- a non-profit organization committed to "Making A Difference" in the lives of children suffering with a life-threatening illness. Revenue from the "FSO" event will underwrite the cost of building WishCruise Navy's new "Adventure Galleon" flagship (or to be politically incorrect, a full size replica "Pirate Ship"!)
This made-for-television event is an annual black-tie celebrity poker game produced aboard a luxury cruise ship or hotel/casino resort property..
The game is TEXAS HOLD 'UM.
The "FSO" celebrity dealer and six (6) celebrity "spy" players (3 men/3 women) are A-list actors and actresses identified as "SPYS" or "Secret Agents" in film and/or television.
Two non-celebrity players will be chosen from other charity fund-raising poker tourniments
Corporate and individual sponsors underwrite the "buy in" for each celebrity player.
The winner-take-all game-ending pot is donated in the name of player having the most "chip money." Besides bragging rights and a special commemorative gift, during the following year the mast flag and hull of the WishCruise NAVY flagship reflects the name of the winning player! $5,000 will also be donated to each player's designated charity.
